Red mullet
Red mullet
Red mullet is mainly found in the coastal waters of the North Sea, the eastern Atlantic Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea. This fish immediately stands out with its pinkish-red to orange-red color, sometimes with yellowish longitudinal stripes. Red mullet has a sweet flavor reminiscent of shellfish, such as shrimp.
