Thornback ray
Thornback ray
Thornback ray is a fish mainly caught in the North Sea and the eastern Atlantic Ocean. It can be recognized by its broad, flat body with thorny spines on its back and a long tail. Only the wings of this fish are eaten: the flesh is firm, fibrous, and has a mild, slightly sweet flavor.
